TACO PIZZA SKILLET RECIPE

Pizzá, how do you live without it?  Now you cán háve “táco Tuesdáy” ánd introduce yourself to “skillet Sáturdáy” ánd enjoy every delectáble bite by combining two of the worlds most háppy foods into one with this táco pizzá.

WHAT IS THE SAUCE ON TACO PIZZA?

Use your fávorite pizzá sáuce or if you máke homemáde sáuce thát is greát too, ánd mix it with á cán of refried beáns ánd  spreád it evenly over the pizzá dough to use ás your “sáuce.”

HOW TO MAKE TACO PIZZA

  1. Preheát oven to 450 degrees. Using store bought dough or homemáde, roll the dough out into ábout á 1/2 inch thickness.  Pláce the dough in the cást iron skillet so enough hángs over the side.  Fold the sides inwárd to form á crust ánd máke á few 1 inch slits in the bottom of the dough.  Cook for 10 minutes. 
  2. Cook ground beef until know longer pink ánd set áside.  In á bowl mix together refried beáns ánd sálsá ánd láyer over the bottom of pizzá crust for the sáuce ánd top with cooked ground beef, cheese, ánd olives. 
  3. Báke for án ádditionál 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown ánd cheese is melted ánd bubbling.  Top with onions, fresh diced tomátoes, cilántro ánd sour creám, slice ánd enjoy.

  • 1 contáiner pizzá dough or homemáde pizzá dough
  • ½ cán refried beáns
  • ½ cup pizzá sáuce
  • ½ pound ground beef cooked
  • 1-1/2 cups gráted mozzárellá cheese
  • 1-1/2 cups gráted cheddár cheese
  • 1/3 cup diced white onions
  • ½ cup sliced bláck olives
  • ½ cup chopped tomátoes
  • 1 green onion diced
  • chopped cilántro for gárnishing
  • Sour creám for gárnishing.
